Mold Control & Prevention
With the ever increasing cost of energy, property owners are constantly looking for ways to cut their energy costs while maintaining or improving their level of comfort.
One of the most cost-effective ways to reduce your energy consumption is to install a radiant heat barrier system from Sunshine Forecast into the attic of your home or office. Radiant Heat Barriers have been recognized for years as a cost-effective way to reflect unwanted heat away from the living areas of a building, allowing the insulation and air conditioning system to work much more efficiently. With our new patented radiant heat barrier systems, we make it very easy to install in existing structures.
Sunshine Forecast offers a patented system, Sun Shield™, for quick and easy installation in any accessible attic space without disturbing the existing insulation.

Scientific tests show when building an energy-efficient home
the use of radiant barrier can effect savings on cooling
as much as 25% per year for the Life of the Home!
What can you expect from our radiant heat barrier system?
* Lower attic temperature in the summer up to 30 degrees
* Lower humidity in buildings with air-handlers in the attic
* Lower air temperature of air conditioning from A/C ducts
* Lower cooling and heating costs
* Increased attic temperature in winter months
* Increased comfort throughout the building
Measured R-values only account for the heat transferred by conduction and convection, and do not recognize the third form of radiation. The majority of heat transfer is in the form of radiation, which means that r-values only tell you part of the story, and as a result are very incomplete measurements of total heat resistance. Because residential buildings are required to adhere to strict building codes with specified r-values, it is optimal to use a combination of both mass insulation and some kind of radiant (reflective) material. This will increase the insulation values, satisfy the building codes, and allow you to reflect (block) up to 97% of all radiant heat!
